Soil Sampling

Soil surveys and other research activities are essential foundations which must be carried out, pursuant to the directives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, as a condition for commencement of the activities of excavation, treatment and rehabilitation of contaminated sites. In addition, where there is a pile of soil which had been excavated, in respect of which there is concern that it is contaminated, the sampling of the pile must be done by a certified sampling expert, pursuant to the sampling procedures of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
