Biosoil is a pioneer in the field of hazardous organic waste treatment in Israel, and is considered a center of extensive knowledge and high expertise in the field. The advanced technology used at Biosoil's facilities is the result of decades of on-going academic and applied research.
During the years of its activity, Biosoil has treated about 200,000 m3 of hazardous waste with various degrees of treatment complexity originating from a wide variety of polluting sources and through diverse production processes.
Biosoil employs both Jews and Muslims, residents of the Negev, who work together side by side. In this manner Biosoil supports cultural diversity and sets an example of co-existence and harmony among religions.

Bioremediation is the process by which microorganisms biologically degrade complex organic compounds into simpler ones. During the treatment process, the microorganisms use organic compounds for increasing their biomass or as part of their respiration process.

Soil surveys and other research actions are essential stages which must be performed, according to the directives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, as a condition for commencement of the excavation and rehabilitation process of contaminated sites.
Where there is a stockpile which had been excavated, in respect of which there is concern of contamination, the sampling of the pile must be done by a certified sampling expert pursuant to the sampling procedures of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Biosoil offers its clients environmental sampling and research services, as a supplementary service for soil treatment, through Biosoil and through LDD which is deemed as a leading company in Israel in these fields.

Laboratories
The microbiological laboratory of Biosoil, headed by the microbiologist Dr. Assaf Lowenthal, graduate of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, performs hundreds of tests a year which are designated to control the treatment process and the efficiency thereof. The microbiological laboratory enjoys unique, broad and proven experience, reflected in the ability to integrate microbiological analyses and advanced chemical analyses.
Analytical Laboratory
Biosoil carries out the analytical laboratory tests for wastes received for treatment at EnviroLab laboratory of the Environmental Services Company, which is adjacent to Biosoil's treatment facilities, making use of some of the most advanced equipment in the world. Envirolab offers Biosoil's clients a wide range of analytical tests, in a manner which allows the client to obtain all of the required services under one roof.
Microbiological Laboratory
The microbiological laboratory at Biosoil, which is adjacent to the treatment facilities, allows the securing of optimal treatment conditions, which are essential for maintaining aerobic activity and for the efficiency of the treatment. The extensive experience which had accumulated at the microbiological laboratory, allows Biosoil to extend its services also to new clients who use traditional thermal treatment solutions.
